jup.

this manga was my introduction into yuri. i really liked it.

eclair is an antology of many different yuri (grils love) stories by different artists. while some stories were overall great, others had just nice art and dull stories or theother way round. this volume is less heavy on the power imbalance as the first one. and an antology is a great way to find authors you like.

Would i recommend it?
definitly. it's a great starting point for the world of yuri manga and with 15 stories everybody can find something they like.

this was the second éclair i've read. i liked the first one i read (éclair blanche) more but this was worth it's time too.
since it's an antology there are very different styles and stories in this book. a lot of the stories have a great art style and often the characters are intersting. some stories were a bit confusing. many stories feature some kind of power imbalance i didn't mind it that much. they're just stories. but i agree this collection lacks some healthy and mature relationships.

i've bought thi book second hand and i would buy it again.
Would i recomend it?
maybe. i've rather recommend the other eclair books than this one but it's still nice.

the manga is about a girl who meets a witch that's looking for the princess.
the whole set up is a bit confusing but i accepted it because this is just the first volume of a series. i haven't read any other parts because i decided this series is not my cup of tea.
the story is marked as fantasy 13+ and i can totally agree. it's a cute story and the protagonist faces typical school girl problems about fitting in and finding her own place in society. i was 18 when reading it and i didn't enjoy reading about all those things as much as younger kids might do. the witch was my favourite character as i've seen in her one of the only reasonable voices in this book who doen't think that much about everybodys opinion. but even she seems to be stupid because she can't find the lotus princess.

would i recommend this book?
yeah, i guess i would. but not to anybody older than 14 or 15. it's definitly made for it's target audience and nobody else.

i've got this  book gifted by my partner and tbh i don't really like the art style at all.
the faces are just so tiny while the female eyes are super big.
this book has two stories and none of them were particularly deep. i liked the first one better because it has some similarity to what my realtionship at the time felt like and i was able to identify with the innocent girl in the story.
but. even at that time i saw it's really flat. the protagonist Yuha is so naive you may want to hit your head on the table while reading. it's sometimes cute but often times just boring and annoying. it's all about true love and her first relationship even though they don't even do anything. it's a typical middle school realtionship. i'm not a huge fan of it. i don't understand why it's marked 15+ either. i was 17 when i read it the first time and it was kind of boring because you grow out of this whole naivity that the protagonist shows.
in conclusion i only like this book because it has a special meaning to me. the story and characters are too bland for me personally.

i picked this manga up because i loved the art style. the cover art is so soft and cute and i'm gender non conforming myself so a manga about a girl who acts as a boy really spoke to me.

first thing i didn't really like Azami. Her homophobia sucks and when i bought the book i hoped for a bit slower developement. but the big surprise that Gwen is a girl happens in the first or second chapter. i hoped it would take the whole book so that was kind of disappointing. Gwen isn't trans and i didn't expect her to be even tho that could have been interesting too. i didn't like that one major plont point seemed to be making her more girly and building this rivalry between Azami and another girl.
it's a cute book but has more than one flaw.
it's marked as 13+ so i guess i'm probably too old to enjoy such simple stories with uneccessary drama.
