Disclosure: I was part of the Beta team for this book!

Alex Perez delivers their second novel with the most ethereal settings, a swoon-worthy MMC, and the sweetest FMC ever.

The spice? Sweet and sexy. Adventure? Check. A land of Gods? Check. Bubbles? Check check check. DRAGONS?! Check.

Some of the little surprises had me snorting and full blown laughing. If you like cozier romantasies with Gods, and magic, or you’re looking for a lighter read after something heavier, this is the book for you.

It was super clear to me this was written by a conservative by the way the main character Kayla speaks about certain people.
her dead husband and the electrician who smells like weed who she accuses of being high on the job and acting like a Karen are prime examples.
The descriptions and then Kayla’s personal feelings reveal a weird bias that I’m just not into.

When Aiden shows up and there’s a mysterious pull towards the domineering and overly assertive man that calls her a bunny rabbit when they sleep together, it’s weird.
