It was super clear to me this was written by a conservative by the way the main character Kayla speaks about certain people.her dead husband and the electrician who smells like weed who she accuses of being high on the job and acting like a Karen are prime examples. The descriptions and then Kayla’s personal feelings reveal a weird bias that I’m just not into.
When Aiden shows up and there’s a mysterious pull towards the domineering and overly assertive man that calls her a bunny rabbit when they sleep together, it’s weird. .
