I think this book may be my favourite of the trilogy. The Ents are so wonderful in this book and I thoroughly enjoy the deeper look we get into Sarumans capture at Isengard. Gandalf is so perfect between books and films I cannot ever tell where one ends and one begins.
Truly an enjoyable book to listen to. Again Andy Serkis is a god among men for his voice acting abilities and the life he has brought to all of these characters and the story itself. I could get lost in Middle Earth forever.
10/10 would advise anyone listen to these audiobook versions.

Lore Olympus will always get 5 stars from me. I first fell in love with the webcomic format of it but am so glad to be able to flip through its print format now.

Another wonderful world that I’m excited to dive into by Maas. This book was pretty good, I wouldn’t say it read extremely YA. But it felt slower than ACOTAR. I felt like the depth of emotion was just more surface than anything in ACOTAR, but seeing as these were earlier works and initially YA it makes sense.

The writing was good, she’s left you with enough mystery at the end to want to hop into the next book. I can clearly tell she’s setting us up with some world building for some big reveals throughout. I’m excited to try and decipher where I’m the Maas universe these books fit.

Good read altogether!

I’ve been trying to read these since I was a kid. For years I have never made it past the halfway mark of the Two Towers. Man was I so happy to discover these audiobooks.

Andy Serkis does such an amazing job narrating, I felt so much more immersed in the beautiful world Tolkien wrote than when I tried to read it myself.

This story is beautiful as always. Concerning Hobbits and the time in the shire will always be such  a favourite part of these books always.

If you have never read them because you’ve seen the movies… I highly advise you read them anyways. Tolkien has painted such a rich world.
