Mooncakes by Suzanne Walker

This was cured, but ultimately I wanted more. The backstory wasn’t as fleshed out as it could have been and there wasn’t enough buildup to give me the warm fuzzies about Nova and Tan’s relationship. Seemed kind of just like trauma bonding without the exposition, which isn’t bad but also not what I think the story was going for.

This one was alright. The premise was interesting but there was a lot going on that lacked explanation. I could have done without Itchy’s character. He didn’t add anything for me and i mostly just was interested in Trudy and Gabby.
