This is an amazing story. It not only shows some of the struggles of African American women in the time period of this story, but it shows the amazing intelligence of these special women and the importance of their jobs! I believe this is a story that everyone should read!

Good story

This is the first Goosebumps story I have ever read. I read it for a reading challenge I am doing. It is a good story with a surprising twist at the end.

This story is very well written and full of tangible characters and the backdrop of the War around them is well described. I just could not really get into this story like I thought I would. I heard wonderful things about it and wanted to read it, but I had a hard time finishing it.
