Merry Ever After by Tessa Bailey

I love Tessa Bailey and I think I’d like this storyline if it were a full book and not just a novella. It was obviously short so everything was rushed which made it a little off-putting. I tried to imagine it being a longer book and I think I’d enjoy the characters and plot more if it was longer! Short read though so no complaints.

Cute little novella. Also really hope Ali Hazelwood is a Swiftie and that she’s playing off Tswift’s lyrics in cruel summer

I could not stop once starting this book… this story was breathtaking and profound. The powerful and insightful portrayal of trauma post-Vietnam and healing… this book was so heart-wrenching and inspiring. I will be thinking about this book for a long time.

Weyward was beautifully written, tying in stories of 3 women across generations. I loved their deep connection to nature and their female resilience in facing various forms of adversity. The way their lives interconnect highlights the enduring strength and wisdom passed down through time.

I wish there was more world building but it’s an interesting storyline. I’m curious to see where it goes.
