I've been trying to get into Historical Romance and since I got a deal on Kindle Unlimited I decided to give this one a try. This book had it all: friends to lovers, marriage of convenience, and everyone but the two main characters could tell they had been in love forever. Can't wait to read the rest of the series.

I liked this book. It had some suspenseful plot points at times. Overall the friend group in this book was solid. Please do not let the cartoon characters on the cover fool you. This one has some spice.

I don't have words to begin to describe this book. It was good. It was emotional, raw, and real. I think anyone who works with children or who has any interest in working with children or fostering should read this book.
