šŸ‘»Lenny Among Ghosts

I saw this book on Amazon First Reads last month and preordered it because I was curious.

This books tells the story of Lenny a human boy who unbeknownst to him is attending a school for ghosts while his parents are on a research trip. When the school comes under attack by outside forces, Lenny finds that he may be their only hope. I think this is a perfect spooky read for middle grade readers, especially for those who may like fart humor.

I saw a lot of people reading it and I thoughts I give it a try. It wasn’t bad for what it was, but I don’t know if it lived up to everything I was promised. If you liked Twilight or vampires and werewolves in general, you would probably like this one.

Cozy, must read for fall!

I was in love with the Gallagher Girl series when I was in high school, so when I heard Ally had another book out I knew I had to read it.

This book had everything: the romance, the suspense, the action. Absolutely 10/10.
Diverse cast of characters: Yes

A Latinx Orpheus and Eurydice retelling…yes please! The story follows Eury and Pheus. Eury comes to the Bronx after Hurricane Maria to stay with her cousin’s family. Pheus is a musician living in the Bronx. His musical talent could get him any girl, but there’s something about the quiet girl who lives in his building he just can’t resist.

For anyone who knows the original story, I absolutely loved the way the author wrote the ending. Please check the trigger warning before reading.

Stuff Your Kindle Day has done it again! This was such a cute YA romance. It was a quick read and I really liked the characters.

Kate needs her car fixed. Lucas needs to make his ex-girlfriend think he’s moved on. Maybe they can help each other. How you might ask? Every good relationship starts as fake dating (Iykyk šŸ˜) If you’re a romance reader, I think you might enjoy this one.

This was my first Ali Hazelwood book and it did not disappoint! I can’t wait to read some more of her work. If you’ve seen her books on booktok or bookstagram and you want to give them a try I’d suggest this one.

Gavin Scott’s marriage is in trouble. As a Major League Baseball player he can’t hit a home run, but his marriage is in trouble. His wife Thea wants a divorce. In order to save his marriage, Gavin agrees to join a secret romance book club. What better way to learn about romance than from the source?

I’ll be honest I was skeptical about this book at first, but y’all Gavin put in the work to save his marriage. It was cute and funny and the men in the story really took these romance books seriously. ā¤ļø
