Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros

Unpopular opinion this book for me was VERY hard to get into in the beginning. I started to get hooked maybe 1/3 of the way in and I’m glad I did. I love the underdog rising trope and it was done well. I don’t really consider this a Romantacy more like fantasy with a smut scene lol. This book made me laugh almost cry and definitely gasp. The hype doesn’t quite live up to the actual book for me but still very good.

Page 3 really lol definitely spicier than book one. I loved all the character development here and definitely loved Simon. Great plot going through the book and a great twist. I need more of the epilogue ;) Can’t wait for Cora’s book!

Definitely forbidden romance! I loved it. I love how Zeus tried to do the right thing but something always brought him back to Lou. Lou is a spit fire who doesn’t take anyone’s sh*t like she should. Real life scenarios and real life sickness makes this book so much more believable.

Tough read for me. I love a good enemies to lovers but this was really drug out for me. They were enemies for 85% not kidding you of the book. There were glimpses of lovers but mainly hate love. The plot was pretty good but again drug out. The twist only came at the very end and was very rushed. I’m talking the last 5 chapters. Also would have liked Dallas to have more about her than spending money and eating. There were small snippets of her other traits but were over all blown off after the mention. I was looking forward to this book after booktok has been all over it but was let down.

VERY spicy. I love Issac the tortured soul who thinks he doesn’t deserve love. Katia who only knows love as abuse. They give each other what they want without knowing that’s what they need. I want more of their story of what happens after they HEA.

I like the mafia aspect of this book but I wanted more. That seems to be a theme within this world for me. I love the innocent with the bad boy. I related a lot to Lilly book dragon wants to help kids very much relatable. This book moves very fast.

I liked the new aspect to this book. Less about the BDSM. I also liked that we came back to Arianna I have been curious about her since she was mentioned in earlier books. Definitely more like a typical relationship than the other books in the series. I love Zander he is probably my favorite MMC in the series. Again wishing for more.
