interesting, at most. i did enjoy it quite a bit though, and i would definitely read other things by shari lapena when i'm in the mood for something that will hold my attention and could get me out of a reading slump. i feel like i guessed a part of the story conclusion but at the end, i feel like the author wanted to leave us grasping at straws at what more could have been going on but we don't really have any insight to nudge us along and i simply don't see how lapena could carry on the story is she decided she would later make a sequel of sorts.
