Yes I am late to the party. I listened to the book on Libby. Michelle Williams was amazing at narrating Britney’s story. On that note, I felt every emotion Britney felt. I cried and even more so starting in chapter 30. Consistently I kept thinking of how did she survive? She survived on sure WILL and FAITH. Her family was vultures living off of her and forcing her to continue to perform…looking her up when she decided to stand up for herself. Her father should not even be called a father. He was a complete USER. I am so happy that her fans SAW her and gave her a loud voice to save her enough to give herself voice and strength to move to get out of the horrible conservatorship. Thanks for telling your story Britney.
Wow! Wow! Wow. I know that I am late to the game on listening to this book, but I so loved it. It's hard to say anything negative about someone's life and their story. But I still love this book. I so loved how Jennette read her own story. It made me feel so much more for her story. Her reading her book puts you in the story with her...feeling the same things. It's amazing how you never really know what goes on behind your favorite star's eyes. They make you cry, laugh, love them, hate them, and even root for them. To be so young and to know how to put yourself first to become healthy. This took courage, and I thank Jennette McCurdy for telling her story and allowing me to read it.

This book has me very intrigued to read the rest of the series. I listened to the GraghicAudio. Highly encourage this version because of Al the different voices and sounds. Just like listening to a movie.

I really love this take on Arthur’s court of Camelot with a telling of it from the protagonists of a strong African American female lead. Last book comes out this month so I will be able to complete the series.
