This held my attention to find out the truth. I also didn’t see any chemistry between Merci and Titus. So it was hard to connect with them and so with the other characters. I enjoyed Mr. Earl though. He had me cackling. That was a funny old man. Overall, this wasn’t a bad read; it was okay.

Title live up to the story. Finesse and Rain definitely was wrong. I thought Murk was gonna crash out but maybe it may be a part 2because the ending seem unfinished.

Speechless.. This was really good. For it to be so short it packed a punch. I just really wish it was a little longer. It was a bit predictable because of the title but it doesn’t take away how the story just sucks you in. Definietly recommend.

This is a summary of Beyoncé life and music career. All that’s stated is not hard to find on the internet but it’s great to have in a book where you can just open and read.

This is great for the Beyhive fans. It’s like a collectible.

Thank you, Black Odyssey Media and NetGalley, for this arc; all thoughts are my own.

When three sisters, Mia, Hazel, and Teyona, find themselves put into a situation, they stick together to find the missing pieces to the puzzle. But what happens when the pieces involve their parents?

I loved the bond  the sisters shared, even though they had flaws that one another disliked. I loved how they rode for one another.

This story was very suspenseful, to the point it kept me engaged, wanting to see what was next. There was always something going on. The plot was good. The family secrets, betrayal, and the different twists had me on edge.

I loved the storyline. I do wish I could’ve gotten more from the ending. It felt hasty, where I feel it fell short as there were pieces that were missing. I had some questions that haven’t gotten answered.

Overall, this was good but different from what I usually expect from Briann, but it shows how versatile she is. This is definitely a good recommendation for the urban fiction girlies that enjoy thrillers.

Ngl I thought about DNFing and coming back at a later time but things started to pick up and I got interested. I’m glad I decided to continue cause babyyyy I had a time reading this.

Raya was unhinged but that was a BAD B!TC#‼️

What Ronnie said? “Sometimes you gotta use what you got to get what you want”. She unapologetically DID that.

Listen argue with ya mammie but I loved me some Raya. She had everybody panties in a bunch and ain’t gaf how you felt about it. There was a reason behind her shenanigans.

Ace was wrapped around her fingers & honestly he’s just as unhinged in my opinion lol. He loved that she kept him on his toes. He was the definition of “Imma stick beside her”.

I really enjoyed this. It had the right amount of suspense, some humor and some spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️. This was good 👏🏾.

My favorite was Natavi & Monster. I felt more of a connection with them two versus Angel & Devatio. Angel & Devatio had more of a sexual connection, whereas Natavi & Monster had more of an emotional connection.

The secrets and lies. The twists and turns 😰. Jalissa & Impurity were some sick @$$ parents. Like wtf 🤯. I hope to see more of Octavio in the next book. I’m so curious about him.

Ngl I was so invested in this. This was good asf. I can’t wait for part 2.

I liked Kamaria but at times she annoyed tf outta me. She was green to alot of things. Cool. But for someone that’s smart she damn sure ain’t see the fakeness with her cousin. She was so quick to defend mfers that ain’t do her no good & I ain’t like that. I guess she had the learn the hard way.
Kyree was overprotective but it was for the love of his green girlfriend. At first i’m like this yn is controlling but he had to be that way with her cause when she made her own decisions she always getting in some type of mess.

Now that mfing plot twist was tea 🐸☕️. It all make sense now. Katheline was a hater like frfr. She was getting on my last nerve. I’m not understanding how her husband put up with her for so many years. He’s a coward so I guess they perfect for eachother.

Overall this was a good read. Cion eats everytime.

Harper was so funny and dramatic but she’s really goated for what she did for her sister. Thats love 💙.

Pam is really just a sad excuse of a mother smh. She really disgusted me more this time around.

I’m so happy for Marley and Czar. They both went thru a lot. To see them get what they wanted and deserved was much needed ♥️.
