This book yanked the rug out from under me and then took my lunch money while I was lying on the floor trying to get the air back in my lungs.

The Edelweiss blurbs included one about how it was good for fans of Adam Silvera. Heed that warning! I did not, and I was subsequently unprepared for the emotional evisceration that is this (beautiful) book.
