I was shocked how 90% of the book was a history of Wall Street and so many theories that didn't work. It could’ve been split into two books! It reassured me that I’m on the right track though.

The direction of the story was unclear throughout the novel, despite figuring out what happens to Rosemary early on. The main character is obsessive and his relationship to his foster sister is creepy and unhealthy. I’m glad this is fiction because I’m pretty sure people who actually think like that main character end up murdering people. I suppose I didn’t mind the characters or story, but I was disinterested the whole time even though it was short.
