I knew when i bought this book this would be a hit or a miss. For me, it was a miss. The book was very confusing, and even though it's only 200 pages it felt like i'd been through the entire time war too when i finally reached the ending. The "beautiful poetic writing" used so many words yet said so little, making the words lose their meaning. Until page 70 nothing happens, and even after that there's not that much going on until the last 50 pages. The ending just dragged on for me and was very unclear. I wouldn't say this is a bad book, but it's not really worth the hype either.
