I wanted to really like this book but I just found it blah... I kept waiting for the big plot twist that never came about and the end was so unsatisfying. The only reason I finished it was that I enjoy listening to the audiobook narrator but I am not sure I will attempt another one by this author anytime soon.
This story is extremely heartwarming yet packs a big punch and I feel like there is still a lot for me to reflect on before I can truly express how I feel about it. All I can say right now with certainty is that no one should waste an opportunity to learn about remarkably bright creatures...
I found this book...just fine. There wasn't anything necessarily wrong with it that I can pinpoint as I love Sherlock Holmes stories but I was looking forward to the end solely to be done with it. Been there done that, I don't care enough to bother looking for the next one in the series. Maybe YA novels are just not for me.
