Wanted to enjoy this one but I’m just not a fan of magical realism!

Setting aside for now…maybe. Too much inner monologue for me to care.

Had a little bit of a hard time following the story and getting hooked at first which is why I knocked off a 1/2 star, but why did Ali Hazelwood go SO hard with this one??? I ate it up. So so good and hot.

Don’t read if you don’t want any vague spoilers!

WARRRRR ISSSSSS OVVVVEEERRRRR!!!!

Easily SJM’s weakest book to date. I was so disappointed. Bryce is the most annoying FMC I have ever come across. Every time she spoke I wanted to blow my brains out. So many unnecessary scenes and plot points that seemed to be made just as a shock factor.

Lidia Cervos CARRIED this book!!! Loved her arc and enjoyed her part of the story. And learning what we did in chapter 94 had me screaming!!!!!!

Other than that, I thought the crossover was extremely pointless. Was it fun? Sure. But not necessary. Almost felt like a marketing ploy to get more people invested in this series because it wasn’t doing well tbh.

I’m not really interested in reading about these characters further. Oh and someone important should have died
