It was meh. She has no respect for herself whatsoever and he?? Blames her for his fuck ups? I do want to read the second book because everyone says that if you’re not a fan of Parks and Beejs you probably like Daisy more which I believe I will
This was my first Lisa Jewell book and after quickly reading the reviews I was so excited to get into this book….
I usually hate the ”then” chapters in books but these where done very well and not too many. For me it was fast paced (listen to it on x2.4 speed and read it at the same time)
But here’s my ”problem”…
When I read thrillers I usually don’t plot I’m more of a ”she done it, he done it, the dog did it” and so on. I can’t guess the plot whatsoever…with this book nothing surprised me

4.25 I had moments where it felt like a 5 star read but it wasn’t enough. I’ve heard that book 2 is even better and I’m so excited. A really easy and such a good book.
Wow, didn’t think I’d connect to the characters this much because it’s a novella but wow. I absolutely loved this!
