This is a really beautiful, cozy, and low-stakes journey with a delightful orc named Viv who opens up a coffee shop after her D&D adventures are over for a change of pace. Loved the characters and low-stakes vibes. However, if I went into this knowing it *really* wasn't as marketed (queer romance), I think I would have enjoyed it better. The queer and romance aspect are incredibly lackluster and very much feel as though it was written by a man (as...it is). Still recommend as an easy book with lots of warm life lessons.
