Not the best in the series, it was a bit slow at times and I wished the story would move on a bit quicker at times. But overall, it was still a great book!! It was quite nice to have a change of setting and "explore" some of Russia, and the action towards the end made it impossible for me to put the book down! I think I'm on to the next book right away, I love this series!
Vampire Academy: A Graphic Novel by Richelle Mead
It wasn't great, it really wasn't, but it was fun. It was VERY fast-paced, which was good because that meant it didn't take long to finish it but bad because it excluded the depth of the story. I really liked it, but not in a way NEAR the way I liked the original book. This was, like I said, more fun. It was fun to visit the first book again, and quicker way than re-reading the book. I'd love to read the rest of the books in graphic form someday (I think there are three of them at the moment so book 1-3) but purely to re-visit the world.
The art style was okay, but I didn't really like how they portrayed Lissa and Rose, Lissa's face looked long and weird, and Rose was way too pretty and stylish with big innocent eyes and lips. Is that a weird comment? Oh well. For me Rose is a fighter, and she does not look innocent or like a girl seeking attention from boys. She does seek attraction in a way yes, but not in the style of a young innocent girl. I liked the variety of colour and hair styles, and the fact that Rose wasn't as "white" as she seems to be in the book and film. She is, after all, half Turkish.
Overall, I liked it. It was alright. Nothing special, nothing that should be read INSTEAD of the original book, but more like something to read when you miss the Vampire Academy world but don't feel like re-reading. It's also cool to the the words on paper in actual coloured pictures. It was nice.

Holy shit. This book was not okay on any level, it broke my heart several times, put it back together and then broke it again. WOW. This was my first Colleen Hoover book and I'm not sad in the slightest that it was, since this book was amazing and made me laugh and cry so so hard. Advise: do not read in public (especially towards the end) and have tissues available. You will most likely cry your eyes out. Loved it!
