Overall not a bad series... Not particularly a great one either but was interesting enough to make me keep reading. Not sure if it was just my versions that I bought, but there seemed to be a lot of mistakes, like spelling, grammar, even having words around the wrong way, which kept me from getting lost in the world amanda hocking created. Unfortunately it was very PG (if that even) but other than that, was ok. Would recommend to younger sisters etc. but definitely not the best choice for more mature readers.

Haven of Obedience by Marina Anderson

Not a bad novel. Very different, as there is little to no emotional attachment, but instead shows a successful young woman at a crossroads in her life. The main character Natalie has been unsuccessful in relationships, and endeavours to change her domineering behaviour in order to create lasting relationships. She enlists on a two weekend course at The Haven, were she subdued, and taught (by the sexy Simon) to hand over control to her partner during moments of intimacy. Natalie discovers that there is a very fine line between pleasure and pain, and finds new sensual and erotic ways to express herself through sex. Natalie develops feelings for her tutor Simon, which he denies reciprocating as it is against the rules of haven. Once Simon has finally admitted his feelings for her, you get a brief insight into the relationship, but unfortunately is cut off abruptly. This is the only thing I have to criticise the book about, but still would only recommend to open minded people for spare time.

Absolutely loved the black dagger brother hood series! Would definitely recommend to everybody! Extremely captivating, I couldn't seem to tear myself away from the amazing world j.r. Ward created. Definitely in my top ten series.
