Such a beautiful and complex book about love, found family, communication and the inevitability of change that comes from growing older. The characters and setting are so well written, it’s so evocative and you feel as though you know and love these characters and are a part of their lives. I loved the non-chronological narrative. So good!

This was my first ever dark romance read and it was SO HOT. I devoured this in once sitting. This is pure smut fantasy with some gripping plot points (but mostly just dark romance) so as long as you go into it knowing what it is, you’ll have a good time! 
I would have preferred a slower build up/more character development and a slow burn before getting into it, but I also wasn’t complaining that it went straight into in, you know? 
I will definitely be reading the others in the series! Rowan King is king
