I feel mean giving this 3.75 because I enjoyed it overall but it could have been shorter by 200 pages and in places read like a self help guide to healthy relationships for a YA age group. Which is fine, just a bit pedestrian for my own tastes. Also lazy miscommunication trope coupled with a late 3rd act break up. I am however looking forward to book 2 and onwards because those characters were intriguing.
