My favorite Joe Hill book. Still holding out hope for a big-screen adaptation of this someday... the series was just fine.

Hex is one of my favorite contemporary horror novels. It's utterly original, creepy and super funny.

Have only read Rage in this collection so far and the 3.5 is for that! Will eventually circle back to the other 3 stories and re-review!

The Shining is solid but there are certain elements I just don't love.

Someday I'll read the normal version of The Stand, but for now... still obsessed with this one! I feel like this needs to be added to the list of "unfilmable books" now that we've had 2 adaptations by great directors who couldn't quite stick the landing.

Near perfect book, if not for the ending. Still, undoubtedly one of my favs of all time that I find myself frequently revisiting!
Love, Pamela by Pamela Anderson

LOVED Pamela Anderson’s memoirs SO MUCH. They were so insightful and I really enjoyed the poetry she sprinkled throughout. It was the rare memoir that felt genuinely intimate and retrospective. Obviously you’d have to live under a rock not to know at least one of the controversies that has followed her career over the decades, but I really learned to much about her and her spirit of perseverance from this book. I hope she continues to write and publish, because her writing is full of promise. Love, Pamela was a really light and easy read that effortlessly jumps from one of her iconic eras to another. A must read for pop culture fans!
