My rating for romance is πŸ’–. This book also had me πŸ₯ΉπŸ₯Ή.

Ben wanted to confirm he was gay, not confused, bisexual, or asexual. Maxie wanted to release the pressure females are given to protect their virtue. Neither expected a baby as a bonus result. Maxie wants to forget the whole thing, Maxie's parents want to put the baby up for adoption, and Ben realizes he wants to keep the baby and be a single Dad. He quickly realizes there are sacrifices that come with that decision: change in college pathways, change in career choice, loss of friends, and change in priorities.

My ratings for romance and spice are πŸ’–πŸ’–/🌢️.

This book was just as good as the other two, with all of the twists and mysteries to solve, however, I can't decide which estate I like best as they each have their own charms: garden and stable, ocean and ghosts, fox and magical rooms🫠 I can't wait to see what "Holly" will bring us 😍

~Sweet Briar~

Aris and Blythe. Fate and 🀫. I can't say it before he does 🀭
They couldn't be more perfectly matched for another than they are for each other. It would seem they were both gentler in another life, but I like their fire and quick wit.

"'And where are you planning to read all these books?' Aris mused when Blythe leaned back, inspecting her work thus far. 'You're forgetting the furniture.'
She shushed him, threatening her husband with a wag of the paint brush before she continued."

PRE-ORDER NOW, OUT JULY 1ST!!

My ratings for romance and spice are πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–/🌢️🌢️🌢️. Slate is my kind of swoony πŸ₯°πŸ«

I LOVED "Ace of Betrayal" (which I read while I waited) and it made me impatient for the release of "Queen of Vengeance"! The friend group isn't as prominent in this book as it heavily revolves around Lux and Slate and Slate is an "outsider", but that doesn't take away from the quality of the storyline. They are both tragically loveable characters that I had so much fun getting to know. The banter was, as promised 🀌 magnifique (magnificent)! I LOVE good banter 😍 Definitely saw the grumpy x sunshine duo, but sometimes it was hard to tell which was which because damn did that man FALL πŸ₯° Anyways, as if it isn't obvious and I have to spell it out: READ. THIS. BOOK.

While I waste away waiting for the final installment of this series, I will just have to check out the "Queen of Wesbourne" series. πŸ˜…

My overall ratings for enjoyment, romance, and spice are ⭐⭐⭐⭐/πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–/🌢️🌢️🌢️. I did feel like some s*x scenes didn't really fit the vibe that was going on and were a little forced.

This story was so good. It was advertised as having Gossip Girl vibes, but I hadn't watched it before so I didn't really know what to expect. Since reading this I looked into Gossip Girl to find the similarities and I have been hooked πŸ˜… Despite the toxicity of the friend group, I find myself drawn to their dynamic. They keep each other's dirty secrets and take out the enemies of their friends, no matter how petty. This book follows Walker and Heath as they come back into each other's lives after two years of being abruptly cut-off.

This picks up after "Passing Out" and follows Cecil and Nigel when they arrive at Royal Naval Hospital Haslar. Shortly after their arrival, something happens to Nigel that risks his life. As Cecil investigates what jeopardized his friend's life, he hears whispers of things going on at the hospital that are more than unsettling. The deeper he digs for justice and answers, the more dangerous things get as more people continue to mysteriously fall ill. Who can Cecil trust? Why is this happening? Who is behind it?

My ratings for romance and spice are πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–/🌢️. I recommend this for everyone, but especially those who struggle with loving the shape of their body.

I chose this book for mental health awareness. Lily is plus size and has always struggled with accepting her body as it is and a lot of that has to do with the world's views on what size is acceptable and beautiful as well as her judgemental Mom. When Lily is changed into a vampire she has a lot of changes to accept, like never seeing the sun or feeling it on her skin again and outliving her loved ones, but also that her body is forever frozen in its current age and size. No amount of dieting will ever change that. Can she finally accept and love herself for who she is?

My ratings for romance and spice are πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–/🌢️🌢️. I definitely recommend this to anyone who loves small towns, timeless love stories, and village support systems.

This is a story about two boys who needed to belong and feel loved, a woman who spent her teenage years and early twenties pining for her brother's best friend, and a man who only felt whole with his best friend's sister. There's grief and growth within these pages and it's all so tragically beautiful.

I would recommend this one just as much as the prequel, "Passing Out", and first book, "Suicide in Suffolk".

Cecil is on vacation when he receives a call at his hotel from an old friend with sad news. He drops everything and heads to Honduras. While there, he's given a mystery to solve and reaches out to Keeley for help. Like all mysteries, the culprits don't want the truth getting out and they'll do whatever it takes to keep their secrets buried. Cecil and Keeley are willing to risk everything to bring justice.

I loved it for the banter, the duet read, the overall storyline of self-acceptance and self-love to be able to accept love, and they fall together. πŸ₯°

"There is always room for love in our lives so long as we are open to accepting the kind we think we deserve."
