I could NOT put this book down for probably half of it. The story was great, had some plot holes, but hey that's chill. I got to the point where it turned into a love story and was instantly turned off. It was a romance that wasn't needed and ruined the plot build up a bit for me.

I hated biographical type stories when I first read this and I still can't believe how much of an impact it's had on me. It's so powerful, especially for younger kids who are interested in science who might be dissuaded for any reason.
