Crimson Reign by Amélie Wen Zhao

A good, strong ending to a cool series. The MC did the typical “decide for the other half of the relationship that they shouldn’t be with her and then not explain her actions when she rejects him” but it all got resolved and it wasn’t as bad as in other books. Lots of action, loveable characters and an intriguing plot.

Those images of screaming people being pelted with red-hot pebbles were graphic, man.

Very fun and exciting, I still remembered many key scenes years later.

Could be a bit tough to get through (and the last few chapters are US-centric) but I appreciate the understanding it gave me.

Not only super fun; it's also a good wake-up call that makes you reconsider how we treat animals.

Read this with my 9-year-old brother, and we both enjoyed it.

The cover made me think this book was about a blind girl, but this was good too, and actually more new for me. I’d never heard of Rachel Carson before, and she’s actually pretty cool.

Yeah, this one is up there with the best (prolife) books I’ve ever read. I got to this one via Pro-Life? by the same author, and this one’s even better. I’ll definitely read the expanded version, and would recommend this book to everyone.
