Still With You by Zaara Ali
5.0
The narrative revolves around childhood friends Aqeel and Alaia, whose lives intertwine in unexpected ways over the years.
The story begins with Aqeel harboring unrequited love for Alaia, who, in turn, falls for Uzair. Aqeel's ill-timed confession on Alaia's engagement day leads to a dramatic fallout, shattering her relationship with Uzair. This pivotal event sets the stage for a tale of emotional turbulence and self-discovery.
Four years later, Aqeel stumbles upon a letter from Alaia, reigniting their connection after years of estrangement. Their reunion is fraught with unresolved emotions and guarded hearts. Aqeel, scarred by his past, is reluctant to fall for Alaia again, fearing the pain of unreturned love.
However, fate intervenes as Aqeel crosses paths with Haniya, sparking a new romance that promises healing and hope. Meanwhile, Alaia encounters Kabir, a fashion major who sweeps her off her feet. The dynamics between the characters intensify as jealousy, betrayal, and misplaced intentions threaten to unravel the fragile bonds they've rebuilt.
Each character is flawed yet compelling, navigating their desires and insecurities with authenticity. Aqeel's internal struggle to move on from Alaia while embracing a new love with Haniya is portrayed with sensitivity, highlighting the complexities of emotional loyalty.
Alaia, driven by her own unrequited feelings for Aqeel, grapples with jealousy and remorse as she inadvertently becomes a catalyst for discord between Aqeel and Haniya. Her journey towards self-awareness and redemption adds depth to the narrative, showcasing the consequences of unspoken truths and misguided actions.
The themes of forgiveness and second chances resonate throughout, culminating in a climactic showdown where the characters confront their pasts and redefine their futures.

This book is awesome. Multiple POV made it interesting. This book made me cry at some places. Both of them love each other so much that after going through a lot they ended up with each other. I can never hate these characters. I felt bad when they have to go through a lot of problems. It was a like rollercoaster ride. So much emotions in this book. I read it within two day. I couldn't put this book down.

This book is so amazing. I've never read anything like this. My only complaint is that the book was short. I need more Advait and Zeel moments
