The series is really interesting, and has some really cool ideas in terms of mixing fairy tails with sci-fi and romance, but there's so many parts that i feel like the series doesn't delve deep into any one in particular and it leaves me feeling unsatisfied by the end of the book.
I preferred the first two of this series, this third one was fun but I felt it dragged here and there.

Definitely different. Loved the art style and the concept. Definitely grossed me out at times and in some weird way I liked it even more because of that.

So I read the first few books of the series a couple years ago, and just kind of forgot about it. One thing I hadn't forgotten was Meredith nearly having sex with the Slaugh King, and how pissed I was when it DIDN'T happen. The foreplay was Tantalizing, and then to get shot down because she couldn't get over his tentacles was a real let down.
Over all though the books were quite entertaining, I've been meaning to pick them back up again.
