Ana Huang's return to morally complex, gangster-themed romances is truly captivating. This latest work masterfully blends tension, passion, and intrigue, keeping readers fully engaged. The dynamic between Ayana and Vuk is especially compelling, with Ayana finally receiving the admiration she deserves after being dismissed by Emmanuella and Hank. The cameo appearances from Christian and Stella add an extra layer of excitement, enhancing an already exceptional narrative. This novel is a testament to Huang's skill in crafting emotionally charged, immersive stories.

Holy Moly!!!! What a book, this was absolutely brilliant! I picked this up to read at 8pm last night and finished it by 22:45. I could not stop reading it, I just wanted to know what happened next. it was like watching a movie, the twist, the turns, the sheer anxiety of feeling like someone else was living in your home. Fantastic read, knocks The Housemaid of her top spot!

I really enjoyed the story line of this book but i could not concentrate on the world building at the beginning. I felt as though it could have been much shorter as my attention span began to disappear as i reached the 600 page mark. Obviously the last few pages were really action packed and just like oh my goodness!! But overall, it was not as good as ACOTAR and i don't think i'll be reading the next one

I've finally completed my first Elle Kennedy book and to be honest I wasn't entirely impressed. I enjoyed it however I wasn't overly wowed by it, the story was good however the characters weren't quite my favourite and i feel as though i would like to read more of the girl friends stories rather than this one

This was so good!! In my opinion I would say it is so much better than Haunting Adeline. Enzo is one of my new favourite book boyfriends and having the words "Who did this to you" when he absolutely hates you is just chefs kiss! There was a lot of character hate between Enzo and Sawyer and at times I felt as though it was too much? Although H D Carlton literally put the definition of Hate Sex into this book - like holy moly those spicy scenes >.>
Slyvestor and his lighthouse was a great storyline, i was also hooked and ready to run home from work wanting to know more! The twist at the end was massive and i think if this book was a movie it would be terrifying!
