This is book 2 in the alliance series but the third I have read (yes I went out of order). His story wasn’t as exciting as the other two but at the 75% king was determined to change my mind on the lack luster of his story. It was a surprise so I’ll give him that. Otherwise it was fine but the other books are so much better.

Damn this book is 🥵. I read book 3 before this so I was prepared for this world. Again another book where all the red flags have disappeared in my rose colored glasses. There is light stalking, you belong only to me, you have very little choice in this, type situation but the Fmc is into and Nero does not play. And I know it was the FMC choice to not tell him she was a virgin but damn that is a way to lose it

I got this book to chase the feelings I had from Ninth House by Leah Bardugo. Under ground secret magic society, a medium. The devil, where to go wrong for a fall pick. 

Well for me the book started well but then it devolved into the relationship between the three main characters then the magical side. Which overall I didn’t mind, even though I wasn’t expecting romance, but I found by the end it had taken over the plot. And not even in a sexy way, more in the constantly taking about feelings and trying to hash out a polyamorous relationship. It bogged down the book which left the magic part skimped over. Especially at the main climax.

Plus size younger woman finds herself enthralled by an older, covered in tattoos, mafia man. This relationship definitely crosses the line of consent at many points but the rose colored glasses hides the red flags. Definitely you belong to me, touch her and die, possessive mc and I was living for it.

Very hot and spicy scenes. Four chapters in and I was blushing and squealing over the tension and interactions between these two. Loved it all

I am in love with the dark Olympus series. I was doubtful about liking this book’s couple but I ended up really liking it. The Minotaur was just the right amount of possessive, touch her and die elements that I ended up really liking him. It slowed briefly at the 2/3 mark but then in true fashion of this series, the end was a thrilling race to the conclusion that left me wanting the next book asap.

Very cute and cozy 
Felt like an episode of Gilmore girls. Though the farmer is not nearly as grumpy as Luke. 
I give it 🌶️🌶️ only because  there was 3+ sex scenes but very tame
