Starts intriguing, gets sad, stays sad, ends… hopeful? Very interesting to read a book translated by the author himself and definitely a layered book you could reread a number of times.

A wild read start to finish. Compelling characters and amazing writing throughout though the text shows its age regarding the descriptions of women. If you can stomach that though, read it!
