“Stars flickered around us, sweet darkness sweeping in. As if we were the only souls in a galaxy”

A Court of Frost and Starlight is a Novella described as book 3.1 in the series. This short book is told through the POVs of the different characters that we have grown to love so far in the ACOTAR series.

I read this book in one sitting and I am still struggling to see the point in it. When I finished A Court of Wings and Ruin I was so excited to be able to dive straight into this world again, only to find disappointment. There wasn’t really much going on, and I don’t feel like it engaged me at all. It just didn’t seem to serve a purpose, nothing happened. Maybe I’ll appreciate the book more when the next instalment comes out, but for now I am not a fan.

“Only you can decide what breaks you cursebreaker. Only you”

Following on from A Court of Mist and Fury, this books continues with Feyre’s journey in the Fae World. I don’t want to write anymore in this part of the review as its the third book in the series and I want to avoid spoilers to any aliens out there that are yet to read this series.

I enjoyed this book, but it did not compare to A Court of Mist and Fury which is by far my favourite in the series. I found myself racing through this book as I needed to know what happened next. The women in this book are amazing, I love them! I do however feel like this book could have been 100 pages less. I found myself skim reading through some of the battle parts as it seemed to go on forever! Also, I feel like the death was a real cop out! I won’t say anymore on that. This series is absolutely brilliant and I am thoroughly enjoying it. I am looking forward to seeing the next instalment of Feyres journey!

“To the people who look at the stars and wish”

Following on from A Court of Thorns and Roses, this is the next instalment of Feyre’s journey. I’m not going to write anything further to this part of my review in order to avoid spoilers for those thinking of reading it. Even though I am convinced that I am the only person in the world who has only just read this.

Firstly, Sarah J Maas, can’t half write a sex scene. Wow. That chapter. If you know, you know. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it was a lot faster paced and a real page turner. I could not put this book down and ended up reading it in a short period. It left me wanting more, mainly more of Rhysand. Hello.  I would recommend this series to all who are thinking of reading it, it appears to just get better with each book and I cannot wait to read the next installment.

absolutely love this series, Holly Jackson is one of my favourite authors. When I found out that this was a prequel and also only £1 for WBD I just could not help myself.

I am so glad I have picked it up and added it to my collection because I love it. It was such a fun read and just so nice to be back with Pip and the other characters. I liked the little drops of the other two books within it, little easter eggs for those of us who have read them. I read this in one sitting (it is only 124 pages) however I loved every minute. It has made me want to pick up AGGGTM and GGBB again, I literally cannot wait for the third book to come out!

Definitely recommend!

Reread so I can read ACOSF. However maintain my previous review which is below. Can't wait to continue with my reread of the series.

I really enjoyed this book, the story kept me gripped and I found myself wanting more. I did find that it was slow to start however I urge you to persevere because it definitely pays off. Feyre is a very difficult character to get on with this book, and I found myself shouting in frustration at her. The sexual tension in this book is unreal, the YA label of this book is debatable. All in all I am looking forward to continuing with this book, I am excited to see what Maas has in store for the next book!

Scott Lynch has done it again. I loved this book.
Did I enjoy it as much as The Lies of Locke Lamora? No. But I still really enjoyed this one and I cannot wait to continue with the series.

I love the writing style of this book, despite it being a 600 + page adult fantasy I find myself flying through them within a couple of sittings. I just can't help myself once I pick it up I just don't want to put it down. Red Seas Under Red Skies for parts was set at sea which is literally my favourite fantasy setting. This really added to my enjoyment.

The friendship between Locke and Jean is one of my favourite friendships I think I have ever come across in a book. I love watching it grow and I cannot wait to find out what happens with them next.

The ending had me on the edge of my seat and took me by surprise even on the final page. I promised myself I'd read a few books before reading the next one but I am not sure I can do it. I just cant wait to dive back into this world and adventure with these wonderful characters again.

I definitely recommend this series if you haven't started it already!

Thank you to Tandem Collective and Hodder for sending me a copy of this book and allowing me to be part of the read along on bookstagram.

I was so excited for this book because I thoroughly enjoyed Half A World Away. All The Lonely People did not disappoint. In fact I prefer it to Half A World Away. There are so many things I loved about this book, I don't even know where to start.

Hubert. Hubert Bird. What a man. What a wonderful man. I think he might be one of my favourite characters of all time. Hubert has been through so much in his life, and it hurts. But you can tell how strong it makes his character even if he doesnt know it.

So many parts of this book took me  by surprise and made me cry. I am well known to be heartless when it comes to books. I dont cry. I just dont. All The Lonely People made me cry 3 times. 3 TIMES. Now that is an achievement. I felt such a connection to the characters, they were so well written and developed I couldn't help but be emotionally attached to them. Ugh I love them so much.

I love Mike Gayle's writing style, his books whilst hard hitting are so easy to read. I read the majority of this book today because I just couldn't put it down. I didn't want to put it down. I wanted to remain with these wonderful characters. All The Lonely People tackles racism and loneliness in such a wonderful way. I dont want to say too much because spoilers but just know all hard-hitting topics I feel are definitely given justice.

Thank you to Pride Book Tours and Simon Schuster for providing me with a copy of this book and for allowing me to be part of this amazing book tour.

I have been trying to find a 5 star book all year, it is currently the 16th February AND I HAVE FINALLY FOUND MY FIRST 5 STAR BOOK OF THE YEAR. I absolutely loved this one so so much. I love the characters, the way it is written, the illustrations. The positivity the shines through this book. Just everything. Wow.

I love that the book explores such important themes and topics, and is aimed at a younger audience. Helping an audience of this age learn and be aware of the LGBTQ+ community is so so important and there should definitely be more books out there like this.

Me, My Dad and the End of the Rainbow is the kind of book that I will be recommending to everyone that will listen. This book will be on my shelves for years to come, to share with my future children.

Ink must be one of the longest standing unread books on my shelves. I have had it for the longest time and never really felt like picking it up. However, my random number generator chose this one and I literally devoured Ink in less that 3 hours.

I did not think that this one would be for me. I thought I would have grown out of it and actually not enjoy it as much as I probably would have when I originally bought it. This was not the case. I actually quite enjoyed this one and it took me by surprise. I won't lie the concept did freak me out to start with and I wasn't sure that I could carry on. But I am glad that I did because I really liked it.

I dont think I had much of a connection with the characters so the book didn't have the biggest impact on me but I liked the plot and I like where the author went with it. The ending has definitely made me want to pick up the next one because I am intrigued.

I was gifted this book by my best friend who absolutely loved this book. These Rebel Waves is set partly at sea and involves pirates, what more can I ask for in a  book?

I absolutely loved this book and I cannot wait until I am able to read the next one in the series. I absolutely loved the plot, it is such a fast paced book and I literally could not put it down. From start to finish I was on the edge of my seat. I just wanted more and more. These Rebel Waves, despite being over 400 pages, was a very easy read and I literally flew through the book within two sittings.

The characters have to be my favourite part of the book, I loved getting to know them and following them on a journey.
Teo is my babe, and if anything happens to him My heart will break.
The reveal took me by surprise, it was one of those that I feel like I should have seen coming but most definitely did not as I was so absorbed with what else was going on.

Like I said I am so excited to pick up the next book in this series. Not quite 5 stars, but very close. I have a feeling the next and final instalment will get that 5 star rating.  Definitely recommend this one!
