A vacation home in Maine has always been Harriet’s “happy place.” However, the last trip there with her friends is different…very different. She has to pretend that her relationship with Wyn isn’t over and they’re still going strong.
This is my first Emily Henry read and probably the first romance I’ve read in a while. I really resonated with parts of Harriet and Wyn’s personalities. How they are the way they are.
The power of “found family” through friends is another piece that feels so real within this story. I wasn’t a fan of some of the aspects of keeping things secret and having people just be eaten up from inside (IYKYK). I think that is one piece that didn’t give this book a 5 🌟 rating from me. Close, but not quite.
I read this physically, but also listen to about half the book with the audiobook. Not much of a fan of the voice of Wyn, but that’s okay.
