debated between 2 and 3 stars. I decided on 3 because it gave me a look into a life I've never known.
The book overall to me seemed disjointed and hard to follow. It was more like a collection of experiences and thoughts thrown onto paper and not organized. It may be easier to follow on paper, but I listened to the audiobook

There are a lot of great stories of strong women when it wasn't a great time to be a woman. It's very inspirational.
My favorite person profiled was Donaldina Cameron. I'd never heard of her before, but she rescued about 3000 young girls from sex slavery over the course of her life.

I really liked reading about experiences with elephants. This book takes you deep into a troubled herd and the attempts to rehabilitate them into wild elephants
Hunt for the Skinwalker: Science Confronts the Unexplained at a Remote Ranch in Utah
Colm A. Kelleher, George Knapp
very little of this book deals with skinwalkers. The vast majority is UFOs, aliens, inter dimensional beings the paranormal, etc. The title is the literary version of clickbait.
This book is very interesting for the first half as it talks about various legends and odd occurrences.
The second half tries to find evidence of any of this and comes up empty handed, with only a few interesting parts.

4 stars minus one for very rough language.
most of this book is somewhat mundane and advancing the larger scene of the series, but there are still some very exciting parts.
without giving anything away, there is one very touching part helping to show the human side of war and survival

a fair biography of Joseph Smith dealing with the man, his actions, ambitions and revelations. I wish it was more complete - detail seemed to be lacking in parts
3.5 stars if I could.
As an introvert, I was hoping to find ways to improve myself, but not much was offered there. it Did change my perspective on how I view other introverts for the better, and I guess somewhat for myself.
This book is very much about understanding introverts, but it doesn't do much to help introverts understand extroverts. it is pretty much one sided and tells introverts be who you are and extroverts to deal with it, which isn't really a practical solution

a very thorough and enjoyable read about God's dealings with the people of the Americas from antiquity to modernity. I'm sure that some days presented are dubious, but taking everything as a whole it helps understand America better, and continue to improve what we have.
it is also inspiring reading about our God given rights and how we should extend them to all.
If you've read the Washington hypothesis, you got a more condensed version of this book. while I enjoyed the Washington hypothesis more, this is still a great read worth your time

good conclusion to the first volume in the frontiers saga. as a whole these books have been exciting, entertaining and well written. my biggest complaint is the language. I wish our wasn't so coarse throughout so I could recommend these books to others.
This book matches my thoughts for the whole series
