Somewhat interesting, but like the star wars prequels, the foundation prequels are mostly politics and interpersonal relationships

It is such a blessing to have the words and life of Christ. There is wisdom for anyone that reads this.

A few interesting stories, each touching in is own way. They explore familiar stories that most people are familiar with, with a slight twist - enough to make them fresh and appealing

Although this doesn't follow the natural conflict resolution format of most books, it's enjoyable following the young years of loveable Anne Shirley.

A relaxing book from a slower, more romantic time in history

A very disturbing look into the darkest places on the internet. I had to skip many parts because it gets so graphic.

I only finished to try to get an idea of what my kids are up against. This book is horrifying and disgusting in many places and potentially could be used as a how to for people wanting to get into this stuff.

I'm not one for censorship, but I really wish this book and other books like it were never written. Better yet if the things described didn't actually exist

I could see this being useful for some, but it is mostly "let go of your problems and you'll be happy".

Honestly, I was hoping it would be a narrative of someone on a self finding journey rather than self help, so I wasn't the target audience.

Sorry to say but I zoned out for the majority of the second half of this book when I realized what it was

This was interesting, but the author inserted himself too much for my taste.

I hoped for more talk about the hermit's life as a hermit, but for the most part that is limited to only a couple chapters, which is understandable since very little information is available.

It was fun to explore the life and mind of someone completely different than myself or anyone I've ever met.

Update August 17 - my original review stands with there being very little redeeming value to the bok, but even after a couple months I still look back on this book sometimes and think it was fun to read. 3.25 stars from me now

this is a fun book if you're a child of the 80s, with loads of d&d, 80s video game, movie, tv and pop culture references.

overall good, but only for a certain demographic. Entertaining, but not much more than that

A terrifying story with a positive message. There are times where the book seems to just be a listing of facts and is thus a little dry.

Tere is an amazing woman

It seemed like the whole book was just a lead up to the last chapter. This has a somewhat interesting story, and interesting eastern teachings, but it takes too long to get to the meat. Maybe that's just the busy westerner in me....
