Fun perspective. Decent book. Good not great

Good book. It ended up being a little too deep for me, maybe I should give it a second reading at some point in the future (I didn't use time!)

7/10

I really liked this book. I would have given more stars, but it appeals to common sense and discounts pretty much all science that has been done on the topic

What the author days makes sense, but I have a hard time buying into something as anti science as this.

The idea is our bodies are stored for whole foods, not processed foods. The argument is that food and human bodies are far too complex to be able to isolate individual vitamins, minerals, components, etc. It makes sense to me, but has a bit of a snake oil feeling to it. I really want this book to be correct, because I thoroughly enjoyed it and thought it makes a lot of sense.

Decent book. Interesting, but probably not something I'm going to retain that long.

The main theme is everything in nature is interconnected and too complex for us to really understand. I appreciated the perspective of a forest manager.

I liked a lot of parts in this books, but can't remember them now. That's good enough for 3 stars

Fun short book, but nothing special.

I don't know if the author meant for it to be a commentary on slavery, but that's how I took it

I'm an adult and didn't get this at all. I would call it weird and spazzy.

This was a decent book, but I didn't love it. A lot of time was put into coming up with what an expedition to mars would look like, but the conflict didn't seem to fit, and the resolution seemed very rushed.

An enjoyable look into the life of a research scientist. I liked them facts about trees.

Fun idea, decent book, but it never hooked me
