This was a good story (some things were a little too convenient, but thats how it has to be). Historical fiction, so it's hard to know what to believe and what not. I wish the authors note trying to clear that up was at the first rather than at the end.

This is an interesting story that leaves the reader to fill in stone pretty major gaps, so being your imagination with you.
I wouldn't necessarily recommend except to people interested in the genre (ai sci-fi), but i also wouldn't dissuade anyone from reading it either. Of

This was a great look at the life of an astronaut. He said he didn't use a ghostwriter and it shows. It's a very authentic and genuine memoir.
There is a fair amount of just recalling what he experienced, but he shares his thoughts and opinions on everything as he's going, making it a very interesting read.
I was happy he didn't spend too much time on being a pilot, as many astronaut books do, because i don't find that very interesting.

I'm kinda done with WW2 books. I'm not trying to take anything away from from what happened, it's just that all the stories are pretty similar. This one is a pretty run of the mill WW2 book.

This was enjoyable. I had a hard time following along with half of it, but it was good enough that I'll continue the series.

This was somewhat interesting and was about an event i had never heard of before.
More than anything i liked getting a look into life in the 1800s. Different customs, sociality and how communities as a whole acted.
It seemed like a lot of detail was put into parts that didn't really matter. I was ready to be done a little past the hallway point

Not as good as the first two. The main mechanic of the book (going between dreams) started to get pretty old to me

I really enjoyed learning about ways that we are trying to detect life in other places. Most of this type of book focuses completely on life as we know it, and while this one does suffer from some of this bias, the author states many times that life elsewhere may be completely different.
At times it got a little too technical for me (a lot of the chemistry) so i just sort of glossed over those parts.
Overall it was very good! I've always been most excited about Enceladus!

I really liked hearing her optimism, and i wish i shared it. I'm happy to know people very much in the know have optimism for the future we are creating for ourselves.
I listened to this and while it's very nice to hear dr. Goodalls voice, the interview format is clunky and poorly executed making it hard to listen to.
