I really enjoyed this YA Contemporary. It wasn't spectacularly written since Kody was 17 when she started writing it, but it was a fun and quick read with a few deep messages.
One thing this book did make me realise if that, I am my own DUFF. And I am fine with that because my imperfections may just be perfect to someone else.
Oh, and that ending had me smiling so hard. So hard!

A cute, quick and sexy read. I loved the characters and their stories and definitely cannot wait to read the rest of the series. Abbi Glines knows how to write some memorable characters!

Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen

This was my first ever Sarah Dessen novel and she definitely did not disappoint. It was quite dark, but super easy and fun to read, and left me wanting more. The characters were all great including her vain ass father.
The only slight negative was how slow it was in the beginning.

I'm not even sure what I think about this book anymore. The first time I read this book, I loved it. This time around, I didn't like it as much. The writing was off and there were a lot of dead ends that weren't picked up, but I still found it to be cute.
Near the end I will agree that Samantha became a little childish and it was all about 'me, me, me', which considering the situation was fucking stupid of her. And the fact that Jase took her back annoyed me even more because it just shows how immature teenage relationships truly are!

If I Stay by Gayle Forman

I can't really say much about If I Stay other than the fact it broke my heart. The story starts off slow and steady, but while doing that it also wraps you in a soft blanket, protects you and then without you knowing, it drops you and you can't recover.
I finished the book with tears running down my cheek and a question on my tongue.
What do I want from life?
“Please Mia," he implores. "Don't make me write a song.”
I can't really say much about If I Stay other than the fact it broke my heart. The story starts off slow and steady, but while doing that it also wraps you in a soft blanket, protects you and then without you knowing, it drops you and you can't recover.
I finished the book with tears running down my cheek and a question on my tongue.

This was a very good Chick Lit book. The only problems I had with it was that it was a little bit too long and something that happened near the end of the book that left me wanting to smack Delia in the face and push her in front of a cab.
Broken Silence by Natasha Preston

Broken Silence continues on with the story of Oakley and Cole. It's been 4 years since they last saw each other and not everything is going Oakley's way. Being able to see the maturity in all the characters we last saw in Silence is something so important to the story because Oakley isn't this mute girl anymore. She's a woman on the warpath to conquering the world whilst looking for the one half of her heart.
I don't think there was much of an improvement on the writing but the story definitely had a continuous flow and the romance gave me flutters in my stomach.

Lets be honest, Jennifer L Armentrout can write just about anything and you'll love it. And this was no different. This is what I'd call 'Tame New Adult' which is New Adult, but with hardly any sexy times in there and I think that's why I loved it so much.
Cam and Avery are hilarious characters, and I found myself rooting for him so much. He's a special gem, a gem I want but cannot and will not ever have.
And that ending. Gahh! Broke me!
