It's such an adorable story, i'm not a big fan of romance, but it was almost imposible to not fall in love with this beautiful story

Metamorphosis is the type of book that stays with you forever, the whole plot is a metaphor of how others opinions of ourselves can affect our perspective of the world and ourselves for better or for worse, in Samsa's case for worst. The physical metamorphosis that he experienced was a reflection of his deteriorated mental health, at the end hi loses all hope in himself and his family that he no longer fight for his life and ends up all alone in his suffering.

I enjoy the humor of the author, and the world building was solid and representation of the society of the writers time.

This is the only book of Hemingway that I'm going to read, he was extraordinary writer, theres no denying that, but his writing style and the themes of his books are not waht i usually enjoy and as a person i don't respect him. The book itself was at times a little boring, nonetheless it was reflective, is the type of book that doesn't change completely your life, but stays with you for a while.

I'm a big Shakespeare fan, especially his tragedies, this in particular is my favorite is a perfect mix between plot and characters, the corruption in humans heart are theme of this book, the crimes that are committed in the play are all driven by greed and the anger for power, a wicked desire to be powerfull that takes over the heart of Macbeth and betrays, not only his king, but his friend, and in the rush to cover his betrayal he ends up putting his kingdom in danger.

The writing style is one of my favorite things in this book, some people struggles to like Fitzgerald character, but that's what makes this book so interesting, this rich people is flawed and self centered, they only care for appearance, just as the time this book is set in, the glamour is hollow and a mask to hide the darkness in their heart. The main theme is the past, Gatsby obsession with the green light is the best example of it, in the end it was this obsession that lead to his death.
