Went back and forth b/w a 3 and 4 star rating, and settled on 3. I liked this book, but I didn't love it. This book didn't exactly drag, but not a lot happened either. At times I found myself reading just to get through it. I do, however, enjoy Joyce Maynard's writing style, and I think she has interesting stories to tell. I'll definitely read more of her books.
I listened to this audiobook simply out of curiousity. I didn't really "follow" the case on tv. It was very detailed, well thought out, well-written, well-articulated, and well-narrated. I really enjoyed this audio version.
This book was slow and drawn out. I heard it started out slow but that the end was really good. I thought it was boring and drawn out even to the end. I found myself skimming some parts. Wouldn't recommend.
I find it very hard to believe that this guy's dad swore that much, esp. when they were young. But it was comical enough.
This book was well-written, touching, and inspirational. It will stay with you long after you've finished it. Highly recommended.
