I was soooo looking forward to reading this, BUT:
• There was no real suspense in reading someone’s journal entries.
• Who the f*ck writes their journal entries like this, even if they are meant to be read by someone else later on?? Also, no way she would remember exactly what everyone said and when.
• All the characters felt like cliches; didn’t give a shit whether they survived or not.
• Kate’s character “development” felt forced. (Actually, the whole plot felt forced and lacking in substance).
• Lastly, I have NO idea what this book was trying to say… about anything.
