This is the perfect combination of cosy fantasy, rom-com, and action! It is also possibly the most sapphic book I've ever read (the ghost of your ex girlfriend, helping you to find a new girlfriend? I mean come on!).

Jordan and Harlow are adorable, and perfect for each other. I seriously loved every single second of this story! Plus, all of the little teases (at least, I think they're teases) for what might become future books 👀—I love that sh*t.

If you ever wanted to visit Halloweentown, Stars Hollow, or live in the whimsy world of Practical Magic, or you're just a fan of witches and cosy fantasy with surprisingly high stakes, I highly recommend picking up Pumpkin Spice & Poltergeist 🎃.

Ali K. Mulford & K. Elle Morrison are a literary duo to watch!

See, I knew I'd love Party Animal (hello, Finch), but I didn't realise just how much. This was just... it was phenomenonal.
Fake dating? Sapphic? Zoo animals? Slow dancing on a yacht? Sign me up.

Frankie and Finch are everything. Frankie was a character that saw SO much of myself in, it was starting to become eerie. Finch is just, I love Finch. I think if Finch hugged me and told me everything would be okay, it would be. Yearning. SO. MUCH. YEARNING.

When I finished this, I was walking around afterwards and just giggling any time I thought of this book. Party Animal is beautiful, funny, quietly moving, and so joyous.
