It was a far cry from TGoL and I almost gave it two stars from the sudden change of adult into teen fantasy but our Author still gave Loki enough of his brilliance still that I decided to give a three.

Jumps was interesting but really I would have preferred Loki’s host to be an adult. Especially given the fact that he is a baby at the end.

The love interest was so dull I wanted to cry and there was never enough clarification on Evan, Jumps, and Stella and how they all worked/work together or don’t work together should I say.

I may have enjoyed this more if I hadn’t read TGoL, but I did and I find that I would reread it in a heartbeat while this one almost had me deciding to not read another if another came out. However I really enjoyed Loki’s scheming in the last couple of acts and it really saved the day for me. I wish it had been more of that.
