It was decent, dragged on a bit. Once it all came together I felt like I was still reading for hours and I had lost interest by that point. Overall, it was just kind of….ok

Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt

DNF 40%. I kept waiting for things to happen and nothing ever did. I loved the Octopus’ POV chapters, Tova’s were ok, Cameron is insufferable and I skimmed most of his chapters. I finally decided to DNF and looked up what happened. I feel like I was bamboozled by this book.

One of the best books I’ve ever read. It kept me guessing all the way through, the ending was a shock and absolutely mind bogglingly fantastic. 12/10 just read it.

Overall I liked it. Some parts dragged on a little too long explaining in minute detail things we don’t really need to know. This was still a wild ride from start to finish.

Started off slow, then got really good, then the ending went supernatural, and I was instantly disappointed. I will say the ending did get better and there were parts I enjoyed, but why....why did it have to go supernatural. Would have been a 5 star if it didn't.
