First and foremost, this is the first book I have read by Jasmine Miller, and I was initially skeptical because bodyguard romances are not typically my thing. However, I was pleasantly surprised and ended up loving this book. "Tangled in Vows" is the second installment in the "Tangled & Torn" series and can be read as a stand-alone. That said, I recommend starting with the first book to avoid some confusion at the beginning.
Now, let's talk about this captivating story. We follow Olivia Parker, a famous singer who is on the verge of turning eighteen. Unfortunately, once she reaches that age, she is faced with being forced into marriage with a man she does not want. I completely understand her reluctance. Olivia boldly says no and runs into the arms of Holden Donahue, and they hit it off beautifully. However, tragedy strikes and Holden has to let Olivia go to allow her to pursue her happiness. Years pass, and just when he's moved on, he unexpectedly runs into Olivia again, this time as her bodyguard.
What’s compelling is how deeply Holden loves Olivia, willing to sacrifice everything for her happiness. Even after all he has given up, new threats and obstacles arise, challenging their chances of finding happiness together.
The suspense in the story had me on the edge of my seat. "Tangled in Vows" by Jasmine Miller is out now, and if you enjoy a good suspenseful bodyguard-singer and second-chance romance, this book is perfect for you. This was a fantastic introduction to a new author for me, and I have to say, the cover alone had me hooked from the start!

As this is my first duet audiobook, I can confidently say bravo! It was incredibly good—I couldn't stop listening. I had some extra credit to use on Everand, and "Lights Out" happened to be recommended to me, so I thought, why not? I had heard great things about the audiobook and dove right in. I must admit, I was not prepared for what was to come. I definitely need batteries, a fan, and a shot of whiskey after that experience! I absolutely loved "Lights Out," and I cannot wait for the next one to come out in June. Navessa, sweetie, thank you for this amazing experience!

The chaos between Kennedy and Tristan is top-tier. He knows exactly how to push her buttons and annoy her to the point that she feels like pulling her hair out, all in an effort to secretly get her attention. When I say this man fell hard, I mean he really fell hard.
These two are complete opposites. Kennedy is put together and organized, while Tristan is charming and smooth like butter. With every bickering argument, they seem to come closer to loving one another, to the point where it feels like the wheels are going to fall off. And on top of all this, they’re in a tropical setting. Someone send me a Margarita, please! The way this man crawls—yes, you heard me right, he crawls and worships the ground she walks on—I am here for it.
I will admit that he didn’t defend her at one point, but he made up for it, so we’re cool now. I was ready to knock his socks off anyway! "Paradise in Progress" is a really cute slow-burn island romance that we all need as we start planning our summer vacations—only a couple of months away! But we can already envision it in our heads, okay?
So until summer vibes hit, enjoy your Mai Tais indoors and stay warm and cozy!

Why must Rebecca do this? Why does she have to go through this? What did we do to deserve this? Now, before anyone says anything, I knew this book would end on a cliffhanger; that’s just how these stories work. But I didn’t expect this cliff to be so high that I’m dangling for dear life! The story was phenomenal, heartbreaking, and downright evil. I understand that you have to keep us guessing and on our toes, but I didn’t want to be left hanging like this!
I’m sitting here crying after what I just read. I’m not okay. Someone send me help and a bottle of whiskey! Rebecca, you gorgeous jive turkey goddess, you are infuriating, but I love you nonetheless. I hate that we have to wait a whole year for the next one! Someone help!
