I... Read this book... in ONE DAY... That hasn't happened in MONTHS. It flowed so easily, it was fun, an actual haters to lovers and they were so wholesome!!!!!

I BOUGHT THE HARD COPY RIGHT AFTER FINISHING THIS BOOK AND THAT HAS *NEVER* HAPPENED BEFORE. ~~The fact that I have a job now might have a little to do with it by anws~~

Oh my god! these are the kind of books that make me second guess DNF'ing books!!!

I was not into this book in the first few chapters as I felt it was slow and nothing was happening but oh boy I think around 20% to 30% mark (which is my limit of DNF'ing.. at least starting this year) I was completely HOOKED!!!!! I loved this so much. I want to say so many things but do not know how to, just please pick this book up if you love yourself magical forest vibes, with a touch of gothic horror, and BEAUTIFUL PROSE with the most emotional and amazing romance sub plot... I have annotated this book so much on my kindle and BEST BELIEVE right after I finished it I ordered the hard copy. I am going to transfer all my annotations.

I cried so much at the end but it was just so beautiful. For those of you who NEED to know whether there is a HEA:

Yes, kind of (?) it is not a traditional HEA by any means but I think it will leave you satisfied if you hate unhappy endings (WHICH I DO PASSIONATELY TRUST ME i do not and will not read anything thats not a HEA). BUT I DID CRY SO MUCH OMG

Did not finish book. Stopped at 45%.

tbh I was bored mostly even thought it was entertaining at first.

I think it might be the right book wrong time thing too but I don't know. I think I currently crave subtlety and this book is not very subtle.. its not that there isn't enough showing, it's just there is a lot of telling. every single thing is followed by an explanation of what it means or what we are supposed to understand/get from that specific action/behaviour/dialogue and I genuinely do not like that, at least not right now especially since I really want subtlety.

Might try reading this again tho at some point!

I really liked this! it was so cute! the only reason it is 3.25 stars is they were together even if not official from the beginning of the book and acted couple anyways!!
