I really did want to finish this book for my challenge, I realize it was starting to get too much for me personally. It might take me a while to get back to it, but I will eventually try to get through Blood Meridian.

It’s not the best YA horror I have read, but I definitely love the concept of Scream Site. It was also one of my favorite novels pre-pandemic that I used to read all the time in public. I wish there actual consequences with Scream Site (like someone unexpectedly dying), but then again this book was made in mind for younger readers.
