the narrator was absolutely brilliant. i loved everything about this book. a new timeless classic. i think any one of any age could enjoy this book.

i really enjoyed this book! i even shed a couple tears at the end.
i saw someone else’s review here, they said they really enjoyed the first third of the book and then didn’t enjoy it as much after. it was the opposite for me! once Gon was introduced it took off for me! i found Gon to be very lovable despite his flaws. he reminds me of my brother in a way.
i found myself feeling sadness hearing yunjae’s story but not processing it bcus the narrator (yunjae) cannot feel emotions. idk it makes sense to me and this book was conflicting for me.
i’ve been wanting to read this since it was published in english and i am glad i finally got around to it!
