I’m a little confused what is going on but hopefully the next one clears it up. Even so, still an engaging story.

This was the best book in this series so far! I have always loved sleeping beauty and maleficent so I was really looking forward to this book and it did not disappoint. It took me awhile to start reading after the last book in the series but it was definitely worth continuing this series. The backstory for maleficent and how it tied in characters from the first 3 books was really good.

I was really excited for this book after the other Freids McFadden book I read. The premise of this one seemed really interesting but I felt like a lot of the backstory given didn't end up having as much to do with the book's ending/outcome. I felt like the book started leading up to some stuff that didn't come up again. About halfway through it started to feel like it was getting slow. And then the whole ending kind of came together in the last two chapters. It was an interesting twist but it just didn't have as much impact as I had expected when I started the book. Overall, it was ok.

I know this is a classic but I’ve never really been a fan. I really like the message and the point of the story, but I just find it so unrealistic that after all that he would just change his ways in a day

I'm not sure what I was expecting honestly. I saw this at the library and checked it out to listen to because I love Mindy! I did love how the audiobook had that classic Mindy flare. It was enjoyable enough and I did like the first half about how her show and career started. But the closer I got to the end, the more I didn't understand what message she was trying to convey with this book.

For some of the parts of the book, I wasn't really sure why she was talking about some of the things she mentioned. There was a whole part where she was re-reading emails that were sent which was kind of confusing from an audiobook perspective.

The other thing that kind of bummed me out was that I like to read the Kindle book as I listen to audiobooks (if I can) and within the first chapter it was very clear that the audiobook did not follow the book which I thought was weird. Within a few pages, I couldn't tell where she was reading in the book anymore
